  • 1 large can Contadina Italian style tomatoes
  • 1 large can Contadina paste
  • 1 large can Contadina sauce
  • 1 large can Contadina puree

Method

  • In a large saucepan, add olive oil and cook Italian sausage in it until brown.
  • Once cooked, begin adding onion, garlic, parsley, basil, oregano, Mrs. Dash, salt, pepper, cheese, sugar and red pepper.
  • Cook until tender.
  • Add tomatoes (chop them up) and fill the can 1/2 full with warm water; add to sauce.
  • Add puree, paste and sauce and as you add these, fill each of their cans 1/2 full with warm water; add to sauce.
  • Stir.
  • Add your meatballs raw or precooked.
  • Cook on a low heat all day.
  • The longer it cooks, the better your sauce.
  • Stir frequently.
