Ingredients
- 6 c. warm water
- 4 Tbsp. yeast
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 6 tsp. salt
- 6 Tbsp. soft shortening
- 16 c. flour
Method
- Soften yeast in warm water.
- Mix first 6 ingredients.
- Knead for about 10 minutes, every 10 minutes for an hour.
- Press down dough.
- Divide dough into 4 balls.
- Let rest 10 minutes.
- Make into rolls or loaves.
- Let rise until double.
- Bake at 375° for 20 minutes.
