Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup chopped PLANTERS Walnuts
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. Chinese five-spice powder, divided
  • 1 ready-to-use graham cracker crumb crust (6 oz.)
  • 2 pkg. (3.4 oz. each) JELL-O Pumpkin Spice Flavor Instant Pudding
  • 1-1/2 cups cold milk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, divided

Method

  • Melt butter in small saucepan on medium heat.
  • Stir in nuts, sugar and 1/4 tsp.
  • five-spice powder.
  • Bring to boil.
  • Cook and stir 30 sec.
  • Spread onto bottom of crust.
  • Cool.
  • Beat pudding mixes, remaining five-spice powder, milk and vanilla in large bowl with whisk 2 min.
  • (Mixture will be thick.)
  • Stir in half of the COOL WHIP.
  • Spread over nut layer in crust.
  • Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm.
  • Top with remaining COOL WHIP before serving.
