Ingredients

  • 2 c. all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. white vinegar
  • 1-3/4 c. dark brown sugar (firmly packed)
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 3/4 c. evaporated milk
  • 3/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. chopped pecans

Method

  • For pastry:
  • Combine 2 cups flour, 1/4 tsp. salt, and 1/2 cup sugar and work in butter with pastry blender or fork.
  • Mix in vinegar and spread dough in a 10x15x1-inch pan, shape up sides.
