Ingredients

  • 1 18 oz Devil's food cake mix
  • 1 4 oz Instant Chocolate Fudge Pudding
  • 4 Eggs
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 3 tbs amaretto or kalua
  • 1 cup semi sweet choc bits

Method

  • Heat over to 350 degrees
  • Grease 10 in bundt pan
  • Combine all ingredients except chocolate bits.
  • Mix at medium speed for 2 min.
  • Stir in chocolate chips.
  • Pour into pan
  • Bake 55-60 minutes.
  • Cool 5 minutes then dump.
  • Glaze:
  • Melt 2 tbs of shortening w/2 squares of unsweetened chocolate.
  • Blend in one cup of sifted confectioners sugar.
  • Add 2 tbs of boiling water (or until it becomes smooth and not grainy).
  • Beat until smooth.
  • Glaze can be doubled (my kids request it).
  • Pour over cake (after it has cooled) back and forth, inside the bundt and out so that it drips over the sides, all the way around the cake.
