- 1 chicken (about 3 lb.)
- 1 onion (used to cook and season chicken)
- 2 ribs celery
- 1 or 2 tomatoes, chopped
- parsley, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 or 2 onions, finely chopped
- 1 qt. chicken stock (save from cooking chicken)
- 1 large can mushrooms
- 1 Tbsp. catsup
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 7 oz. spaghetti
- 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Method
- Simmer chicken in enough water to cover; add salt and pepper to taste.
- Add 1 whole onion and 2 ribs celery; cook until tender. Remove onion, celery, bones and skin of chicken; set aside and reserve the stock for next step.
