Ingredients

  • 2 c. chicken broth
  • 2 c. vegetable broth (leftover from previous cooking)
  • 2 c. water
  • 2 bouillon cubes
  • 1/3 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 2 medium, sliced carrots
  • 1/2 c. frozen peas
  • 1/3 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 1/2 c. uncooked Homemade Noodles
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley
  • 1/8 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1/8 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1/8 tsp. powdered garlic
  • chopped chicken
  • Dumplings

Method

  • Mix chicken broth, vegetable broth, water and bouillon.
  • Add raw vegetables and spices; cook until tender.
  • Add rice and Homemade Noodles; cook until tender.
  • Add Dumplings last and simmer 10 minutes, uncovered, then 10 minutes, covered.
