- 2 c. chicken broth
- 2 c. vegetable broth (leftover from previous cooking)
- 2 c. water
- 2 bouillon cubes
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 2 medium, sliced carrots
- 1/2 c. frozen peas
- 1/3 c. uncooked rice
- 1 1/2 c. uncooked Homemade Noodles
- 2 Tbsp. parsley
- 1/8 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1/8 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/8 tsp. powdered garlic
- chopped chicken
- Dumplings
Method
- Mix chicken broth, vegetable broth, water and bouillon.
- Add raw vegetables and spices; cook until tender.
- Add rice and Homemade Noodles; cook until tender.
- Add Dumplings last and simmer 10 minutes, uncovered, then 10 minutes, covered.
