- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 3/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. shredded carrot
- 6 c. water
- 6 c. chicken bouillon cubes
- 4 c. fine noodles
- 2 (10 oz.) chopped broccoli or 1 head
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 6 c. milk
- 1 lb. Velveeta cheese
Method
- Saute oil, onion and carrot in pan.
- Put 6 cups water and 6 chicken bouillon cubes or chicken broth with fat removed in large pan.
- Cook 10 to 15 minutes.
- Add first mixture, cooked, drained, fine noodles, broccoli (cleaned and chopped) and salt.
- Bring to slow boil.
- Add garlic salt.
- Just before serving add milk and Velveeta cheese.
- Makes a large amount and is really good.
