Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 3/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. shredded carrot
  • 6 c. water
  • 6 c. chicken bouillon cubes
  • 4 c. fine noodles
  • 2 (10 oz.) chopped broccoli or 1 head
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 6 c. milk
  • 1 lb. Velveeta cheese

Method

  • Saute oil, onion and carrot in pan.
  • Put 6 cups water and 6 chicken bouillon cubes or chicken broth with fat removed in large pan.
  • Cook 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Add first mixture, cooked, drained, fine noodles, broccoli (cleaned and chopped) and salt.
  • Bring to slow boil.
  • Add garlic salt.
  • Just before serving add milk and Velveeta cheese.
  • Makes a large amount and is really good.
