Ingredients

  • 1 tea bag
  • 2 tablespoons raw Sugar (more if you have a sweet tooth)
  • 1 ripe Peach
  • 2 sprigs of mint
  • 1 lemon
  • Bulleit Bourbon

Method

  • First, I make my glass of sweet tea: pour yourself a standard mug of hot tea, add 2 teaspoons raw sugar(more if it is not sweet enough), and let it steep for 15-20 minutes in the refrigerator
  • Muddle half of the peach with a leaf or two of mint (not a ton of mint flavor in this)- when the leaves start to tear apart, stop. Do not massacre the ingredients; you simply want to release their concentrated essential oils so they can infuse the bourbon with the magic of mint
  • Add one shot (or more, no judgment) of Bulleit Bourbon into your glass and fill to the top with ice
  • Squeeze the juice from a thin lemon wedge into your drink and leave it in your glass. Add a sprig of mint and peach wedge for garnish. If you have a crazy sweet tooth, you can rim the glass with sugar
  • Head south of the Mason-Dixon and get ready for kickoff!
