Ingredients

  • 2 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 1 stick margarine, unmelted
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 2 c. confectioners sugar
  • 1 pkg. light cream cheese
  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 5 to 6 medium size bananas
  • 1 (9 oz.) container whipped topping
  • 1 c. whole pecans
  • 1 c. maraschino cherries

Method

  • Combine vanilla wafers with one stick melted margarine well on bottom of 8 1/2 x 13-inch dish.
  • Beat together remaining stick of margarine, confectioners sugar and cream cheese.
  • Spread on top of crust.
  • Add can of drained pineapple on top of cream cheese mixture.
  • Slice bananas and cover with whipped topping.
  • Place pecans and cherries on top.
