• 1 - Prepare the Gourd:
  Rinse a traditional mate gourd with warm water to prepare it.
• 2 - Add Yerba Mate Leaves:
  Pour the Yerba Mate leaves into the gourd, filling it about half full.
• 3 - Add Hot Water:
  Slowly pour hot water over the leaves, avoiding boiling water to preserve taste.
• 4 - Let Steep:
  Allow the mixture to steep for a few minutes, then enjoy with a bombilla (metal straw).
• 5 - Sweeten and Garnish:
  Add sugar or honey and a lemon slice if desired, stir lightly.
