Ingredients

  • 1 can crushed pineapple
  • 1 can cherry pie filling or whatever you like
  • 1 box dry white cake mix
  • 2 sticks butter or margarine
  • 1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Spread crushed pineapple on bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Spread pie filling over pineapple.
  • Sprinkle dry cake mix over fruit.
  • Cut butter into small pats.
  • Place pats over entire cake mix.
  • Sprinkle chopped nuts over everything.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
